I really enjoyed them, and it looked like you all enjoyed them as well!
I thought we could reflect on the merits of each group online, and discuss which group deserved the investment capital.
So, to recap:
- Restaurant; "world" cuisine; London Bridge location; for students and business people, all ages; menus in 100 languages; need £100,000 to start-up.
- Dating service; for single hetrosexuals aged 18-60; four different price categories; bookings made online; advertising on T-shirts and in night-clubs; need £272,800 to start-up.
- The "Yoshi" - a child-friendly tool for keeping kids together when they go on school trips; £10 to produce 1 item, to be sold at £15 per item; 600,000 schools in England, later hope to expand out of the UK; need £240,000 to start-up.
- Recycling company; to turn recycled plastic and glass into 4 new products; environmentally friendly; production factory and machinery already identified; want to buy 10 trucks to distribute the new products; need £250,000 to start-up.
I think each group had good ideas, and ideas which were questionable.
What did you think? Which group had a profitable idea? How competitive is their potential market? Did they identify a realistic customer base? Was their idea clear?
Why not post your comments or questions? Who deserves to get the investment?
